Uncertainty merely by klowd j: Is there a difference between worship god as the Father alone and worshiping the Trinity?
I know the people of today worship God as a Trinity. If it is a sin or transgression not to worship the Trinity, why didn’t the old prophets worship a trinity? If the Trinity worshiping God in a trinity was such a big problem, why wasn’t it rectified in the beggining. I know the old testament use “us” and “our” in the Genesis, but most semetic languages use plurals as singulars to add emphasis to their divine beings.
This is certainly remarkable facts about Is there a difference between worship god as the Father alone and worshiping the Trinity? which you can desire to solve situations for their own end. With some luck this will assist you in many ways: and help your own life significantly better. Who wish remarkable facts about Is there a difference between worship god as the Father alone and worshiping the Trinity? just might be simple solution within the foreseeable future.

If God is a trinity, worshiping Him as otherwise is idolatry.
If God is not a trinity, worshiping His as otherwise is idolatry.
The old prophets believed God the Father as well as in the Holy Spirit, which empowered their prophecies, and trusted in the coming Son of God Messiah. Thus, the trinity.

Yes, you can worship God the FAther alone, it shows reverence, adoration, and so on. You find the Son, Jesus, during worship, and receive the Holy Spirit from Jesus.
Thanks Bingo bingo!! you have the correct answer. We must worship God the Father who is in heaven, and is a Spirit, and thus attain spirituality, and then religion becomes the set of rules our earthly parents gave us, and we were taught during religion classes. I think Gladlik is more correct in saying that those who sincerely worship God the Father will find Jesus in Truth and in the Word of God. They will receive miraculous favors by the Holy Spirit.

i guess it depends on whether you want to think of god as someone who talks to himself in third person singular.
Answer by An Inconvenient Truther
I don’t think so. I think people just make to much of a big deal about who to worship what, how many, etc. I don’t think God cares to be honest. I think he wants us to ultimatley worship him, but recognize he was here on earth in the form of a man Jesus whom we should love as well, but thirdly the holy spirit is always here on earth with us which is him as well.

Yes there is a trinity and also a foursome since we add the 3 to the one which they all stem from. the father and son all come down from the Mother the holy spirit, but this is never mentioned to my knowledge( all male clergy.) It again depends on whomsoever you mean by the Father, I always say Farther God~ Mother God.Way back it meant that the Womb of creation was the Mother and the Father and son were then manifested from the womb which is divine space ( best explained from Hindu texts.)

The whole “Trinity” story is a poorly concocted lie to connect Jesus to the Jewish royal line and to the Hebrew god. It is nothing but a story and has no relationship to reality.

During the nineteenth century debates between Unitarians and Trinitarians, the principle of pluralis majestaticus was revealed to be a hoax popularized by the famous Jewish scholar Gesenius. It became clear that he used it as a ruse de guerre against Christianity.
The fundamental error resided in the attempt to take a modern monarchical idiosyncrasy and read it back into an ancient text when such an idiosyncrasy was unknown at that time. Richard Davies in 1891 pointed out, “Indeed, this royal style is unknown in Scripture.”
What is astounding is that, one hundred years later, the anti-Trinitarians are still using this hoax to dodge the significance of the use of plural pronouns in reference to God. They seem to be totally ignorant of the fact that it is a recent grammatical invention and, thus, cannot be read back into ancient times or texts.
We must also point out that anti-Trinitarians now apply the principle of pluralis majestaticus to all plural words of God when the principle really only relates to direct discourse, i.e., “Us” and “Our” passages. It is even invoked as a way to explain away the significance of the plural word elohim in such places as Genesis 1:1. But since Genesis 1:1 is not a direct discourse, the appeal to a supposed “plurality of majesty” is nothing more than a ruse.

The Encyclopedia of Religion admits: “Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity.” And the New Catholic Encyclopedia also says: “The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the O[ld] T[estament].” WELL, then, do the Christian Greek Scriptures (“New Testament”) speak clearly of a Trinity?
The Encyclopedia of Religion says: “Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity.” “The early Christians, however, did not at first think of applying the [Trinity] idea to their own faith. They paid their devotions to God the Father and to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and they recognised the . . . Holy Spirit; but there was no thought of these three being an actual Trinity, co-equal and united in One.”—The Paganism in Our Christianity. Thus, the testimony of the Bible and of history makes clear that the Trinity was unknown throughout Biblical times and for several centuries thereafter. What did prominent men of God at that time use as their authority? Acts 17:2, 3 tells us: “According to Paul’s custom . . . he reasoned with them “from the Scriptures”, explaining and proving by references [from the Scriptures].” therefore the trinity is not founded.

The trinity is one of the most Anti Christ teachings i have seen . There is no Bible basis for this idea .
Look at the ignorance in way the idea is explained . Below is the official wording of the Trinity doctrine.
God is a trinity of persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is not the same person as the Son; the Son is not the same person as the Holy Spirit; and the Holy Spirit is not the same person as Father. They are not three gods and not three beings. They are three distinct persons; yet, they are all the one God. Each has a will, can speak, can love, etc., and these are demonstrations of personhood. They are in absolute perfect harmony consisting of one substance. They are coeternal, coequal, and copowerful. If any one of the three were removed, there would be no God. Now i ask you —- How ignorant ???
Answer by Fact Check
There can be no Father without a Son.
Trinity is found in Old Testament too.

Why didn’t the old prophets worship the moon god?.
Islam and the “Royal We”
The royal plural doesn’t at all help the Muslim cause since it actually implies that Allah was addressing his royal court, his heavenly council. The online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, writes in regards to the purpose and function of the royal plural:
Pluralis majestatis (“majestic plural”) is the plural pronoun where it is used to refer to one person alone. This is also known as the “royal we” or the “Victorian we” because it has usually been restricted to august personages such as monarchs, bishops, Popes, and university rectors. The reason behind the pluralis majestatis is the idea that a monarch or other high official ALWAYS SPEAKS FOR HIS OR HER PEOPLE.
Examples of purported instances:
We are not amused. Queen Victoria (in at least one account of this quotation, though, she was not speaking for herself alone, BUT FOR THE LADIES OF THE COURT.)
We are a grandmother. Margaret Thatcher announcing the birth of Mark Thatcher’s son Michael in 1990.
It is to be distinguished from pluralis modestiae, also pluralis auctoris (inclusion of readers or listeners). For instance:
Let’s calculate! Leibniz
We are thus led also to a definition of “time” in physics. Albert Einstein
It was said that United States Navy Admiral Hyman G. Rickover told a subordinate that used the royal we: “Three groups are permitted that usage: pregnant women, royalty, and schizophrenics. Which one are you?”
There is no such thing as the “Papal we”. The pope may use the “Royal we”.
And regarding the use of “we” this same source states:
The royal we (Pluralis Majestatis) is the first-person plural pronoun when used by an important personage to refer to himself or herself. Its best known usage is by a monarch such as a king, queen, or pope. It is also used in certain formal contexts by bishops and university rectors.
In the public situations in which it is used, the monarch or other dignitary is typically speaking, NOT IN HIS OWN PROPER PERSON, BUT AS LEADER OF A NATION OR INSTITUTION. Nevertheless, the habit of referring to leaders in the plural has influenced the grammar of several languages, in which plural forms tend to be perceived as deferential and more polite than singular forms. This grammatical feature is called a T-V distinction.
Popes used the we as part of their formal speech up until recent times. John Paul I was the first to dispense with this practice, instead using the singular I. John Paul II continued to use the singular.
The editorial we is a similar phenomenon, in which editorial columnists in newspapers and similar commentators in other media refer to themselves as we when giving their opinions. Here, the writer has once more cast himself or herself in the role of spokesman: either FOR THE MEDIA INSTITUTION who employs him, or more generally ON BEHALF OF THE PARTY OR BODY OF CITIZENS who agree with the commentary.
Thus, appealing to the royal plural in order to account for the Quran’s use of plural pronouns only proves that Allah is speaking on behalf of other divine or heavenly beings. In fact, the Quran itself and early Muslim references provide evidence that the plural pronouns do indeed refer to a group, either because Allah himself is a plural entity or because there are several others associated with Allah in his works.
