The limited edition 2014 Dodge Viper SRT Time Attack has been showcased at the ongoing 2013 New York Motor Show. The road going Viper Time Attack has been developed in close tie up with track drivers and the latest variant of the Viper is targeted at those who wish to take their performance cars to track days.
The Viper Time Attack comes draped in Crusher Orange paint job and various black painted bits to complement the body paint. The car is powered by an all-aluminum 8.4-liter, mid-front V10 petrol engine that has a max power output of 640 bhp and a peak torque figure of (hold your breath) 814 Nm . It is being said that this engine has more torque than any naturally aspirated sports-car engine in the world
Suspension duties are courtesy Bilstein Damptronic suspension system and the aluminium X-Brace that supports the engine bay of the standard car has been replaced by a carbon fibre unit to increase the torsional rigidity by 50%. The car gets aero bits like carbon fiber front splitters and rear spoilers.
The Viper Time Attack rides on ultra-lightweight Sidewinder II alloy wheels.
Only 33 units of the 2014 Dodge Viper SRT TA would be ever built.
