Predicament merely by Jack: When will liberals and conservatives understan the problem is not government?
The problem is “US” we argue on everything…refuse to compromise (both) we are basically divided fifty/fifty in our nation! Does anyone really think when obama or republicans or democrats see this they will not abuse this to push their own interest?
Does anyone really think government gives one s@it about you, or is it simply a means to win votes to meet their own goals and personal ambitions?
In the last 12 years what bill has been passed that really help us, when big health insurance companies comes out and support the AACA does anyone think thats good for us? If it were good for “US” they would hate it!
When will our nation actually be a nation again and hold our government accountable? And actually demand they serve “US” and not wall street?

I agree Jack. Like Ron Paul was constantly saying, we all need to take our liberty and the responsibility that goes along with it before the country can reach it’s potential. That is what many people can not comprehend. A person who is responsible for their own actions will not allow themselves to adversely affect others and then things would be really great except for the few criminals that would need to be dealt with.

“compromise” – Why compromise? I’m a Conservative who views the Constitution to be the very reason our country exist, has flourished, and is the basis around the identity of being an American. Shared ideological history and not shared ethnic background. If a liberal wants to pass a bill that would add further control over firearm ownership in the United States, which is guaranteed to us by the Constitution, why would I want my Congressmen or Senator to make a compromise? Would liberals make a comprise on the matters of gay marriage. Gay marriage made illegal but an expansion in benefits when it comes to civil unions?

You have totally missed the point, I’m afraid.
The U.S. has a single political party, which is under the tight control of the
big corporations and the wealthy families.
That party has two divisions – the donkey crowd and the elephant crowd.
They take turns running things in Washington and the state capitals all
right, but they run them on behalf of their masters, not for the benefit of
the people.
Dwight Eisenhower saw this coming sixty years ago, when he warned that
the military/industrial complex was becoming too powerful in the 1950s.
Big money runs the country just as it pleases, and every once in a while it
messes up, giving the people a recession or depression to deal with.
Democrats? Republicans? It makes little difference. The American people
have little say. It’s money that does all the talking.
