Quandary created by ShaneLer: Should the useless and the draggers be exterminated?
The people who do nothing for society and humanity as a whole. They live their lives and do nothing but be a burden on us. I’ve been thinking that they should be left to die, and don’t deserve our help. Even those who do nothing wrong, but also do nothing for “us.” For lack of a better term, a genocide of the useless.
This has been going in my head for some time, and I once thought of myself as a Hitler-ish person, which is bad of course. I need opinions.

Leaving them to die will just make them thieves. At least with welfare they steal from everybody, with actual thievery they’ll take everything from one person at a time.
I do think we should deny welfare to people who refuse to submit to sterilization.

I understand where you are coming from, we work a hold day to keep these people, but the thought of being as one with Hitler is a bit sicking, so I think the Laws have to change. Hands outs have to stop, people have to be responsible for their own actions, thoughts and deeds and not expect others to keep on digging in there pockets and paying paying.

I’ll consider this a serious question. But you need to better define ‘useless.’ Human ‘vegetables?’ Homeless? Unemployed sitting on a couch? Enlighten us. Read on for my explanation as to why we need definition here.
And as for those who do nothing wrong, why leave them for dead? They’re just off minding their own business. Anybody that interferes in their life–including making decisions on how they should be treated–should be dealt with first, because they are thereby making these ‘useless’ people into their problem, rather than the ‘useless’ people making themselves into the problem.
Perhaps you should consider working on legislation to have the funding for ‘useless’ people revoked, forcing them to contribute. Of course, you would need to clearly define what one would have to do in order to be considered a useful benefit doing something for ‘us.’
Think of it like this, too: if you did away with the human vegetables who truly cannot contribute anything, then we would have an overabundance of nurses and doctors. Also, scientists working on various ways of ending the vegetative states would be out of jobs. The companies manufacturing the medical supplies to keep them alive would be downsized. This is where we need definition of your term ‘useless.’ Would all of these newly unemployed people be considered ‘useless’ because they were now unemployed? Not all of them could go out and get new jobs, even simple jobs at a fast food place–there’s just not enough jobs. Look at the news lately: people are being laid off and homes are constanly foreclosed. Should all these people be exterminated? Yes, they could go out and volunteer to clean up parks and streets to better our society, but they wouldn’t have any money to live on. Sure, take money away from unemployment benefits (of course, there’s a whole new debate waiting to happen there) to provide money for those new jobs. But what happens when they clean everything?
If you look hard enough, I doubt anybody is useless. There’s a benefit and drawback to everything. Focus on bettering your life first. Then focus on maintaining your life. Then provide help to those that want it. After all, they’re asking for help, so they should get your assistance before the ‘useless’ ones. That should keep you busy for awhile (and then you’d be doing something for society and humanity as a whole). But don’t intrude on others without putting a deep analysis into their situation.
